Bathy lacks no
aggression and commitment when he's on the park but rarely seems to last
a whole game these days, he puts it down to health problems but those of
us who hit town on a Saturday night would beg to differ.
As you can see from the photo, Bathy is like a tightly wound coil
(or maybe sack of lard), just waiting to explode onto the pitch. As with
many of our shorter players, what they lack in height, they more than
make up for in width.
As with Guy Stevens, Bathy often struggles to keep his head above
the grass in the latter stages of the season, but you can rest assured
that wherever he's been it's well flattened - when Bathy has been
playing he often leaves a tight circle showing how limited his movement
has been, these are sometimes mistaken for mini crop circles. |
