RESERVES TEAM MATCH REPORT FEBRUARY 5th 2005

White Hart Royals 0 v Wheatsheaf Heatherside 0
(By Kenny & Clarky)

It was a bright sunny morning when Clarky picked me up from Lightwater but by the time we got to Frimley Lodge it was a misty, foggy and gloomy morning just like the football was going to end up.

The Boys were forced into an early change when Kev Taylor had a reoccurrence of his life or death ankle injury and had to come off after 27 minutes to be replaced by the 'dropped by himself' Guy Stevens. The remainder of the first half saw a second substitution again down to a girlie injury which forced me to run the line while Steve Edmonson (Player Manager) slotted into right back with Smudge and Hawker.

Half time : 0-0

The second half was much like the first but without the excitement of substitutions. Paul 'the Crouch' Warner should have put the game far from the reach of the White Hart Royals with 3 very powerful but all off target strikes on goal.

Full time : 0-0

Ref Watch : Told me it was a danger to football me smoking while running the line, only Mick O'Donnell would come up with that!

Supporters entertainment value : 4/10

Star Player : Lindsey Stranwick - battled all morning and carried his brother for much of the match!

Moan of the Match : Kate was not out walking her puppies!
