WHEATSHEAF HEATHERSIDE FC OLD BOYS WEEKLY REPORT

The Old Boys were at home to Yateley Green but playing a double header this week. At first it looked as if all 6 points were to go to the opposition as predictably they turned out with only 8 men with many of the players being away for one reason or another. Although the team was patched together and there was considerable support from the Weasels who had to throw their game because of lack of players, the quality and end result proved yet again that the Wheatsheaf is good enough to have a team of some sort (perhaps not the Old Boys) in the premier, when they are able to turn over a team like Yateley Green on the bounce and for 2 years in succession. I was unable to watch all any of the game as I had a fixture of my own to Manage however I am told the performance looked like those we had come to expect in days gone past. This week they are due to take on Hawley Select away in another double header but hopefully they will be back to full strength by then.
