WHEATSHEAF HEATHERSIDE FC KROONERS WEEKLY REPORT

The Krooners were playing in a Semi-Final clash against Beaulieu this week and as with the previous few weeks, had a consistent starting 11 available. Both teams had chances in the first half however the better opportunities fell to Beaulieu who were finding it difficult to finish their chances. We were happy to go in at 0-0 half time and it was a fair reflection on the game thus far given the chances both sides had. In the second half the story was different, we made only 1 change at half time however it was the duo of Zak and George up front who caused all the problems. We went 1,2,3 then 4-0 up before Beaulieu managed a reply however they did have a penalty opportunity at 1-0 down which may have changed the game for them. At the end of the day it was a fantastic and emphatic win and one we had deserved for a few weeks and will now see the Krooners march on to a final at Farnborough in April. This week the Krooners have a mid-week game on Thursday against Beaulieu and then a double header against Follyhill who they could end up meeting in the Cup Final : MOTM - Last week Guy Stevens got the vote from the players. This week it is still being voted on however Managers MOTM has to go to George Whalley for his first Wheatsheaf hatrick!
