WHEATSHEAF HEATHERSIDE FC KROONERS WEEKLY REPORT

The Krooners were at home to Spelthorne Sports Reserves this week but suffered the same problem as our other teams this week with several players being unavailable. The Krooners started the first half much the stronger side but went behind to a very soft goal after only 15 minutes, this was equalised very quickly however which was soon to be the general pattern of the game. There was never more than a goal in the game but despite Spelthorne going down to 10 men as their keeper was taken off injured, the Krooners conceded a late goal which saw them coming off 4-5 down at the final whistle. The score line very much flattered Spelthorne as our guys played some good football at times and should have put the match out of Spelthorne's reach on several occasions. Next week the Krooners will be back up to full strength with the return of some of the Army lads so we hope to see a better result from a tough double header against Forest Park : MOTM - Could have been a number of players this week as there were excellent performances all over the park however this week the honour goes to Theodore on sheer workrate.
