:: 16th May 2009 - Update :: The Wheatsheaf Cup is always a hard fought game and although the 2 teams play in different divisions they are very similar in playing talent to each other. The rest of the day then started to unfold and as you will see from the pictures taken at the 2009 end of season presentation evening - the lads partied hard as usual. The Wheatsheaf Cup ended up being 4-1 to the Old Boys however with almost all the goals coming in the last 30 minutes it was close for a long time. One highlight from the game was James Hennesey's headed goal for the Reserves, i think this was more a case of being in the right place at the right time when the ball was floated in from a corner to hit James on the head and find the back of the net!
