:: 7th February 2010 - Old Boys ::00idiomas_logo.gif (5103 bytes) The Old Boys had a week off this week as all possible opposition teams were playing in other fixtures. This gave them the opportunity to visit the other two games and lend support both ON and off the pitch! : MOTM - N/A

:: 7th February 2010 - Reserves :: The Reserves were away to Watchetts this week in the Inter Divisional Cup. I was unable to attend the game therefore any formal match report would be appreciated however i am aware that the score was 2-2 at full time which meant that this being a cup fixture extra time was played to get a result. The Reserves came through in extra time to take the game by the slimmest of margins however in a game against a lower division side it is often the way : MOTM - Steve Robinson - Steve had a blinding game and showed that with passion and tireless effort, there is always a way to win a tough game like this.

:: 7th February 2010 - Krooners :: The Krooners were at home to Folly Hill Rangers 94 Reserves this week at the 4th time of asking. Although they had a slightly shaky start they managed to take the early advantage however a few minutes of madness saw their defence completely ripped apart on 2 occasions leaving them stunned at 1-2 down. They regained their composure and managed to pull the game level however with only a few minutes to go they yet again found their defence go wandering leaving only the left back to logo.gif (3690 bytes)defend against 3 oncoming players, the outcome was inevitable and this was how the match finished : MOTM - On the day it would have been Centre Mid Nick however of the Krooners squad I would have to give it to Daniel Evans who not only had a good game in Right Mid Field but also slotted in to Left Back for a while until he got injured

:: 16th May 2009 - Update :: The Wheatsheaf Cup is always a hard fought game and although the 2 teams play in different divisions they are very similar in playing talent to each other. The rest of the day then started to unfold and as you will see from the pictures taken at the 2009 end of season presentation evening - the lads partied hard as usual. The Wheatsheaf Cup ended up being 4-1 to the Old Boys however with almost all the goals coming in the last 30 minutes it was close for a long time. One highlight from the game was James Hennesey's headed goal for the Reserves, I think this was more a case of being in the right place at the right time when the ball was floated in from a corner to hit James on the head and find the back of the net!
